Michigan tells horse racing industry to pay officials' costs
A funding dispute between state regulators and thoroughbred horse owners could cancel this weekend's races at Pinnacle Race Course in Huron Township. The Michigan Gaming Control Board has given the industry until noon Friday to come up with $57,000 to pay track officials, or face an order to not race.
